‘Beyond Opera’ is an educational initiative led by the Òpera a Catalunya Foundation, with the goal of harnessing opera’s potential as a tool for interdisciplinary learning in secondary education.

The project is connected to the operas currently featured in the Fundació Òpera a Catalunya’s programme, providing schools with adapted educational materials to work on them in the classroom.

Fundació Òpera a Catalunya makes available to educational centres, teachers, and the general public a didactic dossier for each opera in the season, including essential information to understand the work and suggested classroom activities.

The dossiers have been created by María José Anglés, musicologist and musical outreach specialist.
