programme <a href=\"https:\/\/biblioteques.gencat.cat\/ca\/el-servei-de-biblioteques\/linies-dactivitat\/promocio_lectura_cultura\/clubs-de-lectura-presencials\/opera\/Pindoles-dopera\/ponchielli-amilcare\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Llegir l&#8217;\u00f2pera<\/a> conceived to disseminate the arts of the libraries of <a href=\"https:\/\/biblioteques.gencat.cat\/ca\/inici\/\"><strong>Servei de Biblioteques de la Generalitat<\/strong><\/a> with the creation of a series of <strong>opera clubs<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a37551d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a37551d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The goal of the project is to stimulate dialogue and knowledge with respect to the opera world, to disseminate experience in this field and to facilitate access to lyric and music generally across Catalonia, without prejudice to other collaborations in related spheres and in other geographical areas.<\/p><p>The more than 400 public libraries located throughout Catalonia are an ideal channel and facilitator for this activity. Indeed, the clubs are dynamic meeting points that incentivise dialogue and knowledge about opera through the shared experience of commented viewings and listening sessions, which may be accompanied by the reading of accessible essays, biographies of singers and composers, novels, or plays. <\/p><p>In short, this project seeks to draw new audiences for both the libraries and target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Llegir l&#8217;\u00f2pera<\/a> offers a series of interesting activities to the curious, reading- and music-loving users of libraries throughout Catalonia.<\/strong><\/p><p>El <strong>Departament de Cultura de la Generalitat <\/strong>provides support material for the clubs: sets of books together with videos and chosen audio recordings from <a href=\"https:\/\/biblioteca.ebiblio.cat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biblio Digital<\/a>, the digital library of the public libraries of Catalonia.<\/p><p>The project will generally culminate at each library with two complementary activities:<\/p><ul><li>A conference about the respective opera piece produced by Fundaci\u00f3 \u00d2pera a Catalunya (4 productions each season), in a format adapted to the programme of each library, different from the earlier talks that are already organised in the cities of the cycle.<\/li><li>The establishment of an agreement with each of the theatres of the &#8216;\u00d2pera a Catalunya&#8217; cycle and the libraries, according to the conditions at each one, to offer a discount or low prices for groups so that the people attending the last stage of the project may enjoy the operas in their own cities.<\/li><\/ul><p> <\/p><p>Fundaci\u00f3 \u00d2pera a Catalunya itself defrays the cost of the last talk or the literary reading at the libraries, providing a trusted person who will travel to the respective library facilities: the music critic and communicator <strong>Meritxell Tena<\/strong> or the musicologist, music critic, and piano teacher <strong>Ver\u00f3nica Mayn\u00e9s<\/strong>, both with extensive experience in music outreach. <\/p><p> <\/p><p>More information:<\/p><p><a
